The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has awarded DTEK Dnipro Grids' power engineers for their help in ensuring the sustainable operation of the industry during the war. During his visit to Dnipropetrovs'k region, Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko presented certificates of honor and badges to four company employees who took part in restoring power grids after enemy shelling.

Four employees of DTEK Dnipro Grids received certificates of honor and badges from the Ministry of Energy: the head of the Southern District of Power Grids and the company's leading engineers. Together with other specialists, they actively restored the region's power grid after the shelling. They also assisted their colleagues in restoring power supply in eastern Ukraine. And now they are preparing the power grids of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast for the following winter.
"DTEK is the foundation and support for the country's normal life and Ukrainians. We are proud of every power engineer who, risking their lives, keeps the energy frontline alive. Thanks to them, the region was able to get through the most difficult winter and stay with light and heat. The next winter will also be difficult. But we have a lot of experience. We are working 24/7 and preparing for the new heating season," said DTEK Dnipro Grids.
As a reminder, in May 2023, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov presented state awards to DTEK Dnipro Grids' power engineers. Seven company employees received medals "For Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine" and "Badge of Honor." In early September, two more company employees received state awards from the Cabinet of Ministers.
