Two DTEK miners killed in russian drone attack

At around 3:00 am on 26th August, a russian drone struck a civilian vehicle carrying two DTEK miners in the Dnipropetrovsk region, killing them as they travelled home after their shift.
Vitalii Semenov, 52, worked in underground auxiliary operations. He is survived by his father, wife and two children.
Illia Rusanenko, 48, worked as an underground electrical fitter. He is survived by his mother, wife and two children.
DTEK extends its deepest condolences to their families, friends and colleagues. The company will provide support to their loved ones.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, russian attacks have repeatedly targeted DTEK’s energy infrastructure, including mining facilities and put employees at risk.
