DTEK thermal power stations across multiple Ukrainian regions came under attack on 7th February, marking the tenth large-scale assault on the company's facilities since October as russia intensifies its campaign against Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
The strikes damaged equipment at several plants. Repair crews began restoration work immediately after the bombardment ended, coordinating efforts with national grid operator Ukrenergo.
The escalation since October has wounded three energy workers at DTEK's thermal power stations.
Since russia's full-scale invasion began in February 2022, the company's facilities have endured more than 220 attacks, leaving 59 workers injured and four dead.
The identify of the power stations cannot be named for security reasons.
On 1st February, a bus carrying DTEK coal miners in Dnipropetrovsk region was hit by Russian drones, killing 12 and injuring 16.
