On March 9, russia carried out another terrorist attack on Ukraine's civil and energy infrastructure. The shelling damaged three of DTEK Energy's TPPs, which had been repeatedly attacked by enemy missiles and drones before.

Fortunately, this time there were no victims or injured employees.

Power equipment is seriously damaged. After the end of the shelling, the energy workers immediately started eliminating the consequences of the attack and restoring the operation of the company's equipment.

For safety, only critically needed employees are at the facilities. All others work remotely.

DTEK Energy employees continue to do everything possible to ensure the Ukrainian energy system runs reliably under missile attacks. The company aligns its activities with NEC "Ukrenergo."

This is already the russian troops' 29th attack on DTEK facilities in September –March. As a result, 28 energy workers were injured, and three died. There were also casualties among rescuers and employees of contracting organizations.

DTEK Group is the largest private investor in Ukraine’s energy sector, with 55,000 employees and over €12 billion of capital invested since 2005.

Over the last 20 years, DTEK has grown into a national energy leader and is today transforming into a pan-European clean energy business.

Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, DTEK Group has restored power to millions of consumers across regions affected by hostilities.

DTEK Group is 100% owned by SCM Holdings. The ultimate beneficiary and sole shareholder is Rinat Akhmetov, a businessman and philanthropist.
