A DTEK thermal power plant near the frontline has been damaged by a russian strike in the early hours of Monday, 27th November. It was the fifth attack on one of DTEK’s frontline thermal power plants in the past month.

Plant equipment was seriously damaged in the attack and residents of a nearby settlement lost power. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Afterwards, DTEK power engineers immediately began work to repair the damage and restore local power supplies.

DTEK continues to do everything possible to maintain the reliable operation of the Ukrainian power system and is coordinating its response with power grid operator NPC Ukrenergo.

We will never bow to russia’s energy terror.
