Kyiv, Ukraine, 21 August 2026 – During the first six months of 2026, companies within the DTEK Group paid UAH 29.6 billion (€580 million) in taxes to budgets at all levels. This is almost 22% more than in the same period last year.

Of the total amount, UAH 27.2 billion (€533 million) was directed to the state budget, while a further UAH 2.4 billion (€47 million) was allocated to local community budgets in the regions where the company operates.

Despite the war, continued russian attacks on energy infrastructure and unprecedented challenges facing the energy sector, DTEK Group companies continue to operate, supply the country with energy, invest in the restoration of damaged assets, and fulfil their obligations to the state in a timely manner.

"Every cent paid in taxes is a contribution to Ukraine’s defence, support for local communities, and the operation of hospitals, schools and critical infrastructure. Despite all the challenges of wartime, we continue to work, invest in the recovery of the energy sector and meet our obligations to the state. Today, responsible business remains one of the foundations of Ukraine’s economic resilience," said Maxim Timchenko, CEO of DTEK.

DTEK remains one of Ukraine’s largest taxpayers. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the company has paid UAH 209.9 billion (€5 billion) in taxes, underlining its role as a responsible business in ensuring Ukraine’s economic stability.
