A russian attack damaged a DTEK energy facility in Ukraine's Odesa region overnight on 16th October, disrupting power supplies to local customers.

By the morning, DTEK engineers had restored power to 33,300 customers. A further 11,500 households remain without electricity.

Repair work began once the site was declared safe by the military and emergency services. Damaged equipment must be repaired before the facility can return to normal operation.

DTEK crews are continuing repairs and working to restore power to all affected customers as soon as conditions allow.
