Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, DTEK Energy companies in Dnipro have supplied 300 tonnes of coal to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The assistance is provided as part of Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front military initiative.
The fuel will be used to keep our defenders warm on the front line. In particular, it will be used in field stoves that the Group’s employees manufactured for the defenders. Ukrainian combatants received over 300 field stoves from miners and repair crews of DTEK Energy, just before the winter.
Since the outbreak of the war, DTEK coal mining companies have provided 450 tonnes of coal to meet the needs of Ukrzaliznytsia national rail operator and local communities. Thus, DTEK Energy has already handed over more than 750 tonnes of coal for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and humanitarian purposes.
