The DTEK Academy has been recognized by the GlobalCCU to be the best in the Branding and Durability category of the Global Council Corporate Universities Awards 2023. “The GlobalCCU Award recognizes and rewards the best universities at the global scale that create strategic value for People, Business and Society,” says Annick Renaud-Coulon, the organizer of the contest.

Apart from the DTEK Academy, the finalists of the 2023 award include such companies as TVS Motor (India), Caixa Economica Federal (Brazil), Hager Group (Germany), Petrobras (Brazil), CMA CGM Group (France) and Kuehne+Nagel (Germany). The ceremony of awarding the winners took place on May 17 in Bangalore, India. In addition to the overall nomination, corporate universities also contested for the following ‘best in class’ awards: Business Impact, Culture, Corporate Responsibility, Technology for Impact, Branding and Durability, Best New, Social and Climate Change Impact.

“For the DTEK Academy, winning the Global Council Corporate Universities Awards 2023 means that we are a unique open corporate university not only in our country, but also abroad. During the full-scale war, we not only continue improving skills of our employees, but also develop new programs and projects in view of the challenges of the time. We will continue to design and create developmental products for the growth of the DTEK team and Ukrainian nation as a whole,” said Dmytro Sakharuk, the Executive Director of DTEK.

The Brand and Durability award is about how a company adapts its activities, recovers, ensures sustainability and development. This award recognizes the corporate university that has a significant transformational impact on the sustainability of the company and society as a whole. With 726 developmental events organized and 21,969 participants attracted to training programs, 2.6 million Ukrainians have received useful information from the DTEK Academy. These are just some of the indicators that reflect the activity of the DTEK Academy. This victory inspires and strengthens faith of every Ukrainian in the long-awaited victory,” said Tetiana Sherman, the Head of Marketing and Communications of the DTEK Academy.

GlobalCCU, the Global Council of Corporate Universities, created in 2005, is the aggregator of corporate universities of leading companies in more than 50 countries all over the world (USA, Switzerland, Brazil, France, Germany, India, etc.), including Airbus, Fiat-Chrysler, McDonald's, UBS.

The DTEK Academy is the only representative of Ukraine on the Global CCU. We would like to remind you that it has been the second time that the Academy won recognition at the international level. The first time was in 2019 in the Corporate Responsibility category for the contribution to development of society and state institutions of the country.
