Dear energy workers, dear friends,

From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you on your professional holiday — Energy Workers’ Day.

Your work has long gone beyond the bounds of an ordinary profession. In the most difficult times, when russia continues its barbaric attacks on the energy system, seeking to plunge our country into darkness and cold, you courageously carry on your mission — bringing light and warmth to the homes of millions of people.

Where the enemy destroys, you rebuild. Where it seeks to sow chaos, you restore stability. Day and night, in rain and snow, and under shelling, you repair lines, bring units back online, and restore electricity to cities and villages. Thanks to you, hospitals, schools, and businesses continue to operate — everything without which everyday life is impossible. Thanks to your work, Ukrainians are able to live and work despite all the hardships and trials.

I am sincerely grateful to each of you for standing guard over the country’s energy security. Your professionalism, resilience, and dedication deserve the deepest respect. You are a reliable pillar and a true source of pride for Ukraine.

On this day, I wish you and your families good health and prosperity. May the light you bring to people return to you a hundredfold.

Thank you for your work. Together, we will endure and prevail.

With deep respect,
Rinat Akhmetov

Over the last 20 years, DTEK has grown into a national energy leader and is today transforming into a pan-European clean energy business.

Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, DTEK Group has restored power to millions of consumers across regions affected by hostilities.
