Today, humanity stands on the verge of fundamental changes. The global transition from fossil to renewable energy sources will have an effect on the geopolitics, world economy and ecology of the planet.

Energy transition can lead to the emergence of new world energy leaders, change international trade relations, create environmentally friendly production technologies, new professions and jobs.

Ukraine cannot stay away from this process. Understanding of these global trends and innovative solutions will allow to transform and successfully integrate the country's energy sector into new global economic processes.

On December 23, we invite you to join a round table discussion with the participation of top managers of DTEK, the largest national energy investor in Ukraine, and attend a public lecture by Jose Luis Cordeiro, the Energy Advisor at the Singularity University.

Roundtable speakers:

Johan Bastin, Chairman of the DTEK Advisory Council
Emanuele Volpe, DTEK Chief Innovation Officer
Dmitry Osyka, Head of IT and MODUS Digital Transformation Program at DTEK
Philipp Leckebusch, DTEK Chief Technical Officer

The broadcast of the event will be available to all registered participants.

This is DTEK's first public event designed to initiate a discourse on energy transformation and development of an open innovation culture in Ukraine.

DTEK Group is the largest private investor in Ukraine’s energy sector, with 55,000 employees and over €12 billion of capital invested since 2005.

Our businesses generate electricity at wind, solar and thermal power plants; distribute and supply power to end consumers; extract natural gas and coal; trade energy resources on Ukrainian and foreign markets; and provide domestic and commercial energy services.

Over the last 20 years, DTEK has grown into a national energy leader and is today transforming into a pan-European clean energy business.

Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, DTEK Group has restored power to millions of consumers across regions affected by hostilities.

DTEK Group is 100% owned by SCM Holdings. The ultimate beneficiary and sole shareholder is Rinat Akhmetov, a businessman and philanthropist.
