  • DTEK Grids restored 1,441 energy facilities damaged by russian attacks in the first six months of 2025, almost matching the total for the whole of 2024 (1,503)
  • Recovery specialists repaired 1,298 power lines spanning over 3,300 kilometres, along with 143 substations and transformer points, bringing electricity back to more than 3 million people across Kyiv, Kyiv region, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions
"Only half of 2025 has passed, yet the volume of restored networks after attacks has practically matched last year's total. Despite constant attacks, our primary task remains ensuring everyone has electricity. Over these six months, our energy workers have restored electricity supply to more than 3 million Ukrainians. Unfortunately, the price of light can be too high – in February in Dnipropetrovsk region, crane operator Hennadiy Musatov died during shelling," stated Alina Bondarenko, DTEK Grids CEO.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion on 24th February 2022, 98% of all damaged energy facilities have been restored, with the remaining 2% inaccessible due to security and equipment constraints.
