russia badly damaged a DTEK thermal power plant in an attack with multiple drones on Friday night - the latest terrorist attack on Ukraine's civilian energy sector.

No workers were injured and staff immediately began rapid response repairs to get the power plant back on line.

russia has attacked DTEK power stations approximately 230 times since its full scale invasion - destroying the vast majority of DTEK's generation capacity at least three times since February 2022.

Earlier on Friday, a DTEK employee working at a coal mine in the Dnipropetrovsk was killed when his vehicle was hit by another drone, bringing to 444 the number of DTEK employees killed during the full-scale war.
