In 2018, the company established a Technology Center for a systematic search, adaptation and implementation of the latest technologies. Among the modern technologies, that are used by the company, is 3D geomechanical modeling and creation of digital twins; leading approaches in well survey, such as Walkaway and Offset VSP, modern technologies in deep drilling, gas production and treatment.
Now DTEK Oil&Gas moved on to the formation of a technological ecosystem that will become a driver for the development of the company and Ukrainian gas production industry as a whole. The core of such an ecosystem is the DTEK’s Oil&Gas Technology Hub. It is a platform for new local and international partnerships, an entry point for attracting the latest oil and gas technologies, which were previously unavailable in the country. Within the framework of Technology Hub, it is planned to work on technologies for the extraction of hard-to-recover resources and increase the life cycle of deposits, to look for opportunities for business diversification in accordance with global trends in decarbonization and Green Deal.
