Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the DTEK Group has allocated UAH 324 million in humanitarian aid, support to the Armed Forces and the Territorial Defense Forces. The funds are intended for the purchase of food kits and essential medicines, means of protection for the military and support for internally displaced persons.

DTEK Group's businesses work closely with the authorities and local governments to support Ukraine's defense capabilities.

Together with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, the company purchased and donated food to residents of Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions. Three children's hospitals in Kyiv were provided with medicines, food, and hygiene products, and 5 state-of-the-art Renasys ™ Touch wound treatment devices were purchased and transferred to NDSL Okhmatdyt.

DTEK also organizes deliveries of generators for autonomous electricity supply for hospitals and local communities in a number of regions.

DTEK Group companies delivered more than 300 tons of coal to Ukrzaliznytsia. Fuel is used for trains that evacuate Ukrainians from combat zones every day. Another 100 tons were transferred for the needs of local communities and heat supply.

DTEK Group is the largest private investor in Ukraine’s energy sector, with 55,000 employees and over €12 billion of capital invested since 2005.

Our businesses generate electricity at wind, solar and thermal power plants; distribute and supply power to end consumers; extract natural gas and coal; trade energy resources on Ukrainian and foreign markets; and provide domestic and commercial energy services.

Over the last 20 years, DTEK has grown into a national energy leader and is today transforming into a pan-European clean energy business.

Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, DTEK Group has restored power to millions of consumers across regions affected by hostilities.

DTEK Group is 100% owned by SCM Holdings. The ultimate beneficiary and sole shareholder is Rinat Akhmetov, a businessman and philanthropist.
