DTEK provided free electricity to the military and health care facilities worth UAH 250 million

Within the framework of Rinat Alkmetov’s Steel Front initiative, DTEK provided free electricity to Ukrainian military and health care facilities worth over UAH 250 million.

Overall, health care and military facilities in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions received some 45.15 mln kWh worth of electric power within the framework of Mr. Akhmetov’s initiative. This allowed to save some UAH 250 million in public funds and to use them to address urgent defense needs.

Free electricity is being supplied to over 100 of public and communal health care facilities, as well as to the military and law enforcement bodies.

Among other developments, electric supplies have been secured for Illya Mechnikov Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Hospital, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Pediatric Hospital, Kyiv Municipal Clinical Hospital №8 and others.

Notably, SCM business entities are providing the Armed Forces of Ukraine and law enforcement bodies with constant aid within the framework of Rinat Alkmetov’s Steel Front military initiative. Particularly, over 150 thousand body armors, more than two thousand drones and radio sets, 700 vehicles, half a million liters of motor fuel etc. have been procured and delivered. Since the war broke out, SCM business entities spent over UAH 3 billion to provide aid to the state of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, and this figure is counting.
