russia hit an energy facility of DTEK Energy again, it has been disconnected from the energy system

russian troops continue a series of systemic terrorist attacks on Ukraine’s civil and energy infrastructure.

Today, on 15 December, the enemy undertook another massive shelling of a DTEK Energy’s facility.
In prior reports, nobody has been wounded.

Following the shelling, the facility’s equipment sustained grave damages. Currently it has been completely disconnected from the energy system. Bringing the facility to a standstill resulted in deficit of heating across the region.

After the shelling was over, the energy people promptly started dealing with its aftermath - evaluating the equipment damage and planning for restoration of its operations.

As a matter of safety, only the critically important members of personnel stay at the facilities, others are working remotely.

DTEK Energy continues doing everything possible to support stable operation of Ukraine’s energy system under condition of the enemy’s massive projectile strikes. The company aligns its activities with NEC Ukrenergo.

During the period from September till December, DTEK Energy’s enterprises were exposed to as many as 19 terrorist attacks by russia. As a result, 24 energy professionals were wounded and 3 killed. Emergency rescuers and employees of contractor companies were among the wounded as well.
