DTEK has been selected to join the invitation-only Private Sector Platform, a landmark global initiative launched at the 11th Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (COSP11), the world's largest anti-corruption forum, held on 15th and 16th December in Qatar.
Officially launched by the United Nations Global Compact in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the Private Sector Platform will bring together a select group of international companies to advance anti-corruption efforts through collective private-sector action. It marks a historic step forward as the first structured, year-round mechanism for businesses to contribute directly to the implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption – the world’s only legally binding global anti-corruption framework.
Maxim Timchenko, DTEK CEO said: "I'm incredibly proud that DTEK has been invited to join this global initiative to fight corruption. Our participation reflects our firm commitment to integrity and transparency and our zero tolerance for wrongdoing. These principles are the foundations on which Ukraine's recovery is being built."
Commenting on the importance of Ukrainian participation, Tetiana Sakharuk, Chief Executive Director UNGC Ukraine said: “I am proud that Ukrainian companies are part of the COSP11, ensuring that Ukraine’s voice is present in shaping global integrity standards.”
Participation in the platform will enable companies to contribute to the development of AI-driven solutions, practical tools and new guidance aimed at strengthening corporate governance and raising business integrity across global markets.
DTEK's selection reflects its long-standing commitment to European governance and compliance standards, and its active role in shaping responsible business practices at the international level.
