DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy company, has been honoured at the prestigious SABRE Awards for its socially significant "Fight for Light" campaign. The company received the award for an impactful art installation in Kyiv's Podil district featuring a 40-ton transformer destroyed by russian forces during an attack on a thermal power station.
The installation aims to provide Ukrainians and international visitors with a firsthand view of the devastating scale of destruction caused by russian missile strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. The damaged transformer aims to raise awareness among both Ukrainian and international audiences about the consequences of attacks on Ukraine's energy system.
