In a CNN article, DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko warned that Russia has significantly altered its strategy for attacking Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

"Rather than continuing to focus their attacks on Ukraine's transmission systems, from late March, Russia began launching massive attacks on our energy generation infrastructure," Timchenko told CNN. "Unfortunately, the enemy has evolved tactics and uses high-precision weapons. The result is a huge increase in its destructive effectiveness compared to 2023."

This change in Russian tactics poses an immense challenge for Ukraine's energy sector, which has been working tirelessly to restore power after previous waves of attacks.
