  • WEF annual meeting in Davos: DTEK announces major investments to Ukrainian energy sector

During this year’s Annual Meeting, DTEK held a Media Briefing on 22nd January, announcing €450 million investment to expand the Tyligulska Wind Power Plant in the South of Ukraine in partnership with Vestas, the world’s leading wind turbine manufacturer.

DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko on his LinkedIn:

As part of its active participation in the WEF Annual Meeting, DTEK also hosted a side event on 21st January focused on Ukraine’s energy sector in a form of a breakfast discussion titled “Green financing for Ukraine: partners and sources?”. The event explored ways for Ukrainian companies to attract green financing and highlighted the private sector’s role in driving Ukraine’s green transition.

DTEK has also held a series of high-level bilateral meetings with government officials and business leaders to discuss the recovery of Ukraine's energy sector and explore opportunities for collaboration. These meetings included discussions with Andrej Plenković (Prime Minister of Croatia), Dorin Recean (Prime Minister of Moldova), Dan Jørgensen (EU Commissioner of Energy and Housing).
