Oleksandr Selyshchev

Appointed CEO in 2022, Oleksandr leads DTEK Renewables through the challenges of full scale war, overseeing the strategic development of Ukraine’s leading wind, solar, and battery energy storage portfolio.

Oleksandr joined DTEK in 2005 and became Director of Strategy and Development in 2014. He was the first CEO of DTEK Group’s renewables division and has overseen major projects, including Ukraine’s first large scale 200 MW BESS. Under his leadership, DTEK Renewables is constructing the country’s largest wind park in the south and developing a major wind project in the east.

Oleksandr graduated with honours from Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University and is an ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) charterholder. He has completed executive leadership programmes at Kyiv Mohyla Business School and DTEK Academy, as well as the Energy of Leadership programme at London Business School.
