As part of winter preparations at the thermal power plants of DTEK Energo, the repair campaign goes on. In total, the company plans to repair 26 TPP power units by the end of the year.

Twelve thermal power plant units have already been repaired, the repair of four units is in progress, and another ten are tentatively scheduled to be repaired before the end of the year. In total, as of now, DTEK Energo professionals have implemented over 60% of the planned annual repairs at TPPs. In the seven months of this year, investment in repairs amounted to about one billion hryvnias.

“The recent days’ events in and around the Zaporizhzhya NPP and russia’s nuclear blackmail prove once again that Ukraine has to prepare for the extremely difficult winter and, in an equal manner, extremely difficult challenges. We are well aware that the manoeuvrable thermal generation capacity is critically important for the country’s energy front. That is why our power engineers and professionals from repair organisations work 24/7 and do their best to prepare the equipment in order to ensure the reliability of the Ukrainian power system”, - Ildar Salieiev, CEO of DTEK Energo, said.
