DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko will join the Forum Energy Ukraine. The theme of DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko’s speaking will be «Integrating Ukraine’s energy business in European structures – status, short term support and future opportunities».

Checkpoints:

- State of play in the energy sector of Ukraine - from the start of war until now thanks to the support from the international partners it became only more resilient and flexible instead of falling apart as russia has planned;

-  German support - humanitarian, financial aid, political and how we can unite further to reduce dependence on russian oil and gas;

-   Recovery of the energy sector after the victory of Ukraine and further investing into decarbonization of Ukraine and Europe (renewables, hydrogen, battery energy storage, etc.).

The participants of the forum will discuss the current status of the Ukrainian energy infrastructure, the acute need for support and prospective cooperation, e.g. the use of ENTSO-E integration and others, with decision-makers from politics and business in Ukraine and Germany and the EU-level.

The forum is organised by the German Eastern Business Association and takes places in cooperation with the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK) and supported by NRW.Global Business.
