DTEK hosts a public debate at WEF in Davos
Date: The World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting will take place 16-20 January in Davos, Switzerland. The Forum will convene leaders from government, business, and civil society to discuss priorities for the year ahead.
DTEK Group, a leading international energy services and solutions company strongly believes that Ukraine’s reconstruction should accelerate clean energy transition by providing competitive clean power to consumers and European energy markets.
DTEK is hosting a public debate at The Forum on Tuesday 17 January entitled "Supporting Ukraine: Accelerating decarbonization across Europe" at the Grandhotel Belvedere. As a regular attendee of Davos, DTEK is convening energy experts, business leaders and politicians from around the world to highlight the opportunities in Ukraine.
The event illustrates Ukraine’s strong position to contribute to the fast development and transition towards a green renewables mix, diversifying Europe’s energy supplies. Moving together towards a safer, greener energy future.
On 24 February 2021, an unprecedented invasion by Russia of an independent Sovereign nation occurred resulting in a new central European war.
More recently, in October 2022, Russia started using terror tactics. A series of missile and drones strikes trying to paralyse Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
