Yesterday, December 6, russia continued to carry out its terrorist attacks on the Ukrainian civilian and energy infrastructure. For the second time in one day, the energy company DTEK Energy was hit by shelling. It had already been attacked by the enemy on a number of occasions. This time there were no injuries or fatalities.
As a result of the shelling, the company's equipment has been seriously damaged. Currently, it is completely disconnected from the power system. This shutdown has led to the restriction of energy and heat supply in the region.
Immediately after the shelling was over, energy workers started eliminating the consequences of the attacks, restoring the operation of the company's equipment and returning electricity and heating to the residents of the region. For safety considerations, only critical staff are present at the facilities. Others are working remotely.
DTEK Energy continues to do everything it can to make sure the Ukrainian energy system runs reliably under the enemy's massive attacks. The company aligns its activities with NEC Ukrenergo.
This is the 18th russian attack against DTEK Energy power plants in the past two months. They injured 24 and killed 3 energy workers. Casualties also include rescuers and contractors' employees.
