The distribution system operators (DSOs) of DTEK Grids have been operating under the quarantine since March 18, 2020. Over this year, they eliminated 101,000 accidents, processed more than 4.1 million customer requests submitted via online and other remote channels, and developed online services for remote customer service that are fast, comfortable, and safe in a pandemic.
Over the year in quarantine, the manufacturing staff of distribution system operators, which are the part of DTEK Grids operating holding, have been working 24/7 to ensure reliable electricity supply to customers in 5 areas - Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, and Donetsk Regions, as well as in the city of Kyiv.
"DTEK is a reliable and conscious company. Throughout the year in quarantine, the DTEK Grids DSOs energy workers were fulfilling their commitments 24х7. Over this time, our emergency crews eliminated more than 101,000 accidents. The company did additional inspections of external networks that supply electricity to 188 medical facilities that treat patients with COVID-19. The company processed more than four million requests sent via remote channels. We’ve made every effort to make sure that our customers are safe during the pandemic, and their homes and offices have a reliable power supply,” says Ivan Geliukh, CEO of DTEK Grids.
The company provided employees with the necessary means of protection, such as antiseptics, masks, disinfectants. All these measures allowed to work through these difficult months in quarantine without failures.
In addition, over the past year, the companies have made a significant progress in developing the companies’ remote services, which have become quite popular among customers during the pandemic.
Over the year in quarantine, DTEK Grids DSOs launched the following online services:
• Chatbots in Viber and Telegram, using which customers are able to submit meter readings, or get answers to frequently asked questions;
· Submit meter readings via the DSO’s website;
· Submit an application for connecting to the network via the DSO’s website;
· Book an appointment at the Customer Service Centers (CSC) via the DSO’s website.
You can use remote services on the websites of distribution system operators: DTEK Kyiv Grids, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids, DTEK Odesa Grids, DTEK Donetsk Grids, DTEK Dnipro Grids, by calling the companies call centers, and by e-mail and via Facebook and Instagram official pages.
Over the year in quarantine, DTEK Grids workers processed 4.1 million requests received via remote services, which is 29% more than in the same period of 2019-2020. At the same time, the number of in-person visits to the CSC was decreasing over the year in quarantine. 668,000 customers booked their visits to the CSCs, which is 36% less than in the same period of 2019-2020.
The companies' emergency crews, call center and social network operators are working 24x7 so that our customers feel comfortable and have an uninterrupted electricity supply in the pandemic.
