The goal of the WEF Platform is to gather forces in the fight against COVID-19, which poses a threat to human life and health, as well as to the global economy. The WEF platform will provide continuous access to reliable information and analysis for member companies to devise solutions to prevent the spread of the virus and eliminate negative consequences.
In this context, the new COVID Action Platform will focus on three priorities:
1. Galvanize the global business community for collective action
2. Protect people’s livelihoods and facilitate business continuity
3. Mobilize cooperation and business support for the COVID-19 response
“Only coordinated action by business, combined with international cooperation can mitigate risk in an emergency. We live in a world in which local problems can become global. The global business community will only be able to solve these challenges by joining forces and acting in a transparent and systematic manner”, said DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko.
DTEK is concerned about the spread of COVID-19 and is committed to ensure business continuity at DTEK Group companies. Understanding our responsibility for the supply of vital resources - power and heating - DTEK has launched a working group to manage the situation across its enterprises and efficiently coordinate a response in the regions in which DTEK is present.
