In order to support the energy system, DTEK Renewables is ready to restore the operational activity of Tryfonivska solar plant in Kherson region, liberated from the russian occupiers.
The capacity of Tryfonivska SPP is 10 MW. The solar farm stopped working since the beginning of the occupation of Kherson region. According to preliminary estimates, the russian invaders damaged about 10% of the solar panels.
Currently, it is necessary to wait for the permission of the military and law enforcement agencies in order to return to the solar power plant for conducting a final assessment of its condition and damages.
"The company plans to promptly repair the SPP and, at the first opportunity, start producing electricity for the power system, which is important for Ukraine in the conditions of the energy crisis and winter," said DTEK CEO Maksym Timchenko.
Tryfonivska SPP is the first facility of DTEK Renewables, over which the company regains control after the temporary occupation of Kherson region territories by russia.
