russia attached a DTEK mine in the Dnipropetrovsk region on 25th October. An evacuation of all 496 personnel who were underground is currently underway.
According to preliminary information, no workers underground or on the surface sustained injuries. DTEK cannot identify the mine for security reasons.
Engineering teams are working to minimise damage in order to restore operations as soon as possible.
This attack represents the seventh large-scale assault by enemy forces on the company's coal facilities in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions within the last two months, demonstrating a systematic targeting of Ukraine's critical energy infrastructure.
In the face of intensifying russian attacks, DTEK employees are doing everything possible to maintain the supply of energy to Ukrainians and to ensure the wider stability of Ukraine's energy system.
