DTEK VDE recognized the leading developer of the role in onshore wind energy at the international Wind Investment Awards 2024 for achievements in the development of the Tiligul wind power plant during the hour of a large-scale war.
Last year, DTEK completed its work in the first phase of the Tiligul VES, and its work fell on the hour of active shelling of the energy infrastructure, fire crises and blackouts.
On May 23rd at the local ceremony in London, handing over to the city, the jury of the competition emphasized that DTEK VDE: “This is a company and a team that goes beyond what can be achieved. It is impossible for their robots to die out. It’s really breathing!”
In the event of a full-scale war, DTEK is preparing before the start of the Second Tiligulsky VES: it is planned to install another 64 turbines. Upon completion of the wind power plant, the capacity will be 500 MW and provide environmentally friendly energy to 900 thousand households. It is also necessary to ensure the vital supply of unbreakable generation for the energy system, which will face constant Russian missile attacks in the remaining months.
General Director of DTEK VDE Oleksandr Selishchev said: “This city is the home of the brave men and women who were Tiligulskaya TES, and the skin energy industry in Ukraine, who fight for light, at the same time as our enemy brings more darkness. We are very glad to take away this city and this Tamarindo and the judges for the sign of our zusil.”
