Intellectual Property (IP) Policy Statement

DTEK Intellectual Property commitment 

Purpose and scope 

Our commitment to safeguarding intellectual property reflects DTEK dedication to innovation, competitive advantage, and respect for global IP rights. Adhering to this allegiance ensures the sustainable growth, integrity, and reputation of DTEK an international investor. This applies to all subsidiaries, affiliates, and joint ventures within the DTEK companies, including but not limited to holding companies, trading entities, educational and IT entities, and other operational subsidiaries worldwide. DTEK is fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and respect for IP rights. 

Ownership of intellectual property 

We acknowledge the contributions of our employees and partners. All IP created, developed, or acquired by employees, contractors, or third-party collaborators within the scope of employment or under contract with DTEK is the property of DTEK, unless otherwise agreed in writing. This includes, but is not limited to, inventions, patents, trademarks, copyrights, designs, trade secrets, and proprietary information. 

Protection of intellectual property 

DTEK is committed to fair partnership, respectful attitude to the rights of the owners of IP, fair value and safeguarding its IP assets. All employees, contractors, and third parties are required to take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and security of IP owned by or entrusted to DTEK. Unauthorized use, disclosure, or transfer of IP is strictly prohibited. 

Respect for third-party intellectual property 

DTEK respects the IP rights of third parties. Employees, contractors, and agents are expected to exercise due diligence to avoid infringement of third-party IP and to report any potential conflicts or unauthorized use immediately. All third-party IP utilized within DTEK must be properly licensed or authorized.
