Appointed CEO of DTEK Energy in October 2024, Oleksandr ensures electricity generation to support Ukraine’s energy system, attracts international technical assistance, restores damaged facilities, and advances sustainable coal production.
With over two decades at DTEK and its founding companies, Oleksandr has led Energougol ENE, Dniprooblenergo (now DTEK Dnipro Grids), and Kyivenergo (now DTEK Kyiv Grids). Previously, he was General Director at DTEK Odesa Grids and, from May 2022, CEO of DTEK Grids, where he championed power grid restoration during wartime.
Oleksandr graduated from Donetsk State Technical University with degrees in electrical engineering and accounting, and from Donetsk National University with a degree in organisation management. He received his MBA in 2011 from a joint London Business School and Academy DTEK programme.
