During russia's attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, DTEK Renewables built the 114 MW phase I of the DTEK Tyligulska Wind Power Plant. The construction started before the full-scale war, and this WPP was supposed to become the largest in Ukraine, with a 500 MW design capacity.

Repairing DTEK Trifonivska SPP
DTEK Renewables continues to actively restore the Tryfonivska solar power plant due to its damage by the russian military. The solar farm can currently generate 5 MW of electric, which is half of its installed capacity of 10 MW. After the deoccupation in October 2022, Tryfonivska SPP resumed electric power generation in December and since then has generated 335.4 thousand kWh of electricity for the needs of Ukraine.

The 200 MW plant was built in less than a year. In April 2018 DTEK signed an agreement for the design and construction of 200 MW solar power plant with Chinese company CMEC. The first solar panel on the SPP site was installed last October. The solar power plant was put into exploitation on January 2019. The Nikopol SPP consists of 750 thousand PV panels located on the former quarry site. These are low-yield lands, which cannot be farmed efficiently.

DTEK Grids distribution system operators work with 5.6 million customers in Kyiv and Kyiv oblast, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Odesa oblasts. Operators carry out investment programs aimed at improving the quality of life in their respective regions. To this end, a reliable and uninterrupted electricity supply is guaranteed and power distribution losses are reduced. Infrastructure is currently under development to mitigate the power deficit caused by growing communities.
