DTEK named largest Ukrainian tax contributor in 2024
  • DTEK is largest Ukrainian contributor to Ukrainian tax receipts
  • Company contributed UAH41bn, or €878m
  • Tax contribution has increased significantly from UAH 31.9 billion in 2021

DTEK, the largest private investor in Ukraine’s energy sector, has been named the biggest contributor to Ukraine’s tax receipts of any Ukrainian company in 2024. The report by Ukrainian media outlet NV shows the company contributed 41 billion hryvnia, equivalent to around €878 million. This represents a significant increase since pre-war levels; DTEK’s tax contribution in 2021 was 31.9 billion hryvnia.

As outlined in the company’s Tax Statement, DTEK is committed to responsible tax management, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws in the countries where it operates. The company follows international best practices, applying transparent, ethical, and efficient tax strategies that align with business activities and legal requirements.
