One of DTEK Energy's thermal power plants stopped generating electricity due to the russian shelling

The enemy continues to carry out terrorist attacks on civilian and energy facilities in Ukraine.

Today, on August 24, one of DTEK Energy's thermal power plants, which has been attacked several times before, was damaged by shelling.

According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

The attack severely damaged the plant's equipment. The plant has now stopped producing electricity.
Once the shelling stops, the power company can repair the damage and restore the equipment.

DTEK Energy continues to do everything possible to maintain the reliable operation of the Ukrainian energy system in the face of enemy attacks and amid preparations for the heating season. The company is synchronizing its actions with Ukrenergo.

Since September last year, DTEK Energy's energy companies have been attacked 34 times. As a result, three power engineers were killed, and 28 were injured. Contractors and rescue workers were also killed and wounded.
