Dmytro Sakharuk

Appointed CEO of D.Trading in October 2024, Dmytro oversees DTEK Group’s trading operations across Europe, focusing on scaling the business and enhancing Ukraine’s energy resilience.

Dmytro joined DTEK in 2010 as Deputy General Counsel, later becoming General Counsel, Chief Operating Officer, Acting CEO, and CEO of DTEK Energy, as well as Executive Officer of DTEK. He began his career at Philip Morris Ukraine before joining Squire, Sanders & Dempsey LLP.

Dmytro received a law degree with honours and a master’s in Law Enforcement from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. He earned an LLM in International and Comparative Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law (USA), and completed executive programmes at London Business School, Academy DTEK, and INSEAD.
