The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting will take place from 15-19 January in Davos, Switzerland. Leaders from government, business and civil society will convene at the summit to discuss its central theme "Rebuilding Trust". The meeting will provide an important opportunity to discuss how the world can drive transparency and accountability. DTEK Group believes that the Ukrainian issue deserves a prominent place in the discussions and has organised a public debate titled "Revitalizing Ukraine: The role of business" to achieve this goal.
This event builds on DTEK’s previous initiatives at Davos, providing a platform for energy experts, business leaders, and politicians from across the globe to discuss how the private sector can drive Ukraine's recovery. DTEK urges global investors, financial institutions, and governments to collaborate to create the conditions for Ukraine's recovery in 2024. By doing so, we can build a stronger, more self-sufficient nation capable of resisting external pressures while contributing to Europe's defence against potential threats.
In the face of economic challenges, DTEK believes that a thriving business sector can drive Ukraine's recovery and sustainable development. We advocate for strategic investments in key areas of the economy, identifying projects that promise substantial revenues, job creation, and the initiation of new ventures.
