Over the past four months, DTEK Energy's coal mining, power generating and machine building companies have employed 958 displaced persons. These are people who left the occupied regions of Ukraine or regions where hostilities are ongoing.

Overall, DTEK Energy's companies have provided jobs for over 2,000 new employees since the beginning of the war. Most of them are employed at DTEK Energy's mines and supporting companies in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

"Unfortunately, the war drove millions of Ukrainians out of their homes. These people need not only security, but also jobs. And that is what our companies offer them. We help them not only to get a job, but also to learn a new profession - we train them and provide with everything they need. That is why people get better adapted to life and work in a new environment. We will keep doing our best to restore Ukraine's economy and bring closer our joint victory," said Ildar Saleev, DTEK Energy's CEO.

The new employees at our companies are getting help to obtain qualifications, learn a new profession, and renew their professional certificates. If necessary, they can get housed in the dormitories. While getting adapted to the production process, people are being provided with everything they need, including health insurance, and getting paid regularly and in full.
