One of the key features of the flagship EMBA program "Energy of Innovation" is the practical direction of the entire learning process, namely the planning and implementation of a breakthrough team business project.

An international online-tour to advanced economies is important part of the program in order to explore the best practices and cases of leading companies in the world and learn from their experience in the implementation oinnovative projects in Ukraine. All 7 projects that teams are working on aimed at breakthrough solutions in the energy sector.

Scandinavian countries have become the focus of the tour, as they are the creators of the new era of renewable energy and sustainable development.

Denmark was the first country visited by the participants. Did you know that little Denmark is the world leader in wind energy production with an ambitious but very realistic goal to completely switch to renewable sources for heat and electricity production by 2035? Tatiana Kobchenko, Commercial Counselor of the Danish Embassy in Ukraine, together with Anton Rybak, First Secretary of the Ukrainian Embassy in Denmark, opened a virtual tour with an overview of the energy sector. Then Denmark was represented by State of Green, Vestas, Energinet and DTU Elektro.

The second country visited by the participants was Norway, the world's leader in electricity production per capita. The main coordinating partner from Norway, Anatoly Kirilyuk, manager of the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, immersed the participants in the specifics of doing business in Norway and shared the experience of cooperation with the Ukrainian side. Norway was represented by experts Petter Nore, Sjur Dagestad and companies such as ROAF and Volue.

We spent the last day of the international online tour in Sweden, is a world leader in waste management and recycling, that plans to switch to 100% renewable energy by 2040. Swedish companies are working on waste-to-energy systems that add value to waste. Sweden was represented by Smart City Sweden, RISE, Swedish Energy Agency, Borlänge Energi and IVL.

Meanwhile we are starting to plan an offline tour for participants in the spring of 2022.
