The Cabinet of Ministers has awarded honorary Certificates of Courage to DTEK's energy workers working amid active military hostilities.

DTEK Donetsk Grids' energy workers have been awarded Cabinet of Ministers' honorary certificates for personal courage and selfless acts demonstrated during emergency repairs on the DSO power lines damaged as a result of military hostilities in the Donbas region and for saving people under martial law.

"Working under extremely difficult wartime conditions, DTEK's maintenance crews bring the lights back to Ukrainians' homes. Every day energy workers restore power to cities and and villages that suffered destruction as a result of enemy missile strikes and shelling. Today energy workers are heroes of the energy front who keep on standing their ground to ensure continuous operation of Ukraine's energy infrastructure",

said Dmytro Sakharuk, DTEK's Executive Director.

Recall that in March, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal presented state awards to energy workers actually working on the front line.
