Developing Ukraine's clean energy, DTEK Renewable is the largest taxpayer in the renewable energy sector and makes a significant contribution to the financial and economic stability of the country.

Last year, the company transferred about UAH 2.4 billion to the central and local budgets, which is UAH 1.1 billion more than in 2020.

“A high level of tax culture and social responsibility are the basic principles in of DTEK Renewables’ activities. The company consistently fills the state budget and is a reliable employer. This is not the first year that DTEK Renewables has been the largest taxpayer among renewable electricity producers,” said Maris Kunickis, DTEK Renewables’ CEO.

In 2021, DTEK Renewables’ capital investments in production development amounted to UAH 9.7 billion. Compared to 2020, the amount increased by UAH 9.4 billion. The main reason for the rapid growth is the construction of DTEK Tiligulska wind farm.

The company also allocated about UAH 16.4 million for the development of infrastructure and improvement of communities within the framework of social and charitable projects in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. After all, as a socially responsible business, DTEK Renewables is interested in the sustainable development of the regions in which it operates.
