DTEK Group looks forward to playing a full part in discussions at URC 2023
The Ukraine Recovery Conference represents an important opportunity to debate the future of Ukraine’s energy sector and our economic future more broadly. As a critical supplier of energy in Ukraine – and one that has been hit repeatedly by russia’s attacks on our energy infrastructure – DTEK Group looks forward to playing a full part in discussions at URC 2023.
We believe the private sector has a central role to play in rebuilding Ukraine’s energy sector and we have already invested over USD 200 million in stabilizing and restoring power systems since war began.
Private businesses like DTEK can now help transform our sector, turning Ukraine into a green energy partner for Europe and helping the country achieve energy security. DTEK Group has begun this ‘green counter-offensive' with phase one of the Tyligulska wind power plant near Mykolaiv projected to be the largest wind farm in Eastern Europe. russia was destroying Ukraine's energy system during the winter season, and our response is to build more green energy facilities.
Ukraine will win this war and DTEK embraces Ukraine’s vision to build back stronger and greener.
