Due to the imposition of quarantine by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, DTEK has taken a number of preventive measures with a view to preventing the spread of coronavirus at the company's enterprises and minimizing the risk of spreading the infection in the cities in which are businesses are present.
“DTEK’s principal task during this pandemic is to preserve the safety and well-being of its staff and their families. We are also obliged to guarantee the continuity of production processeses that will provide citizens of Ukraine with essential resources during this period. Given our responsibility for the supply of vital resources - power and heating - DTEK has established a working group to manage the situation across its enterprises and efficiently coordinate a response in the regions in which DTEK is present”, said DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko.
Today, DTEK is responding responsibly, decisively and preemptively. Starting from March 18, remote working will be introduced for office employees, and some enterprises will be transferred to a special quarantine schedule.
Additionally, Some of DTEK's businesses, such as YASNO and DTEK Grids, will provide remote services to customers.
