- DTEK is extremely supportive of “30 by 2030” initiaitve of the Ukrainian government. The company will make an all-out effort to ensure Ukraine builds 30GW of renewable capacity by 2030.
- DTEK also wishes to produce green hydrogen – Ukraine is already developing two projects with the capacity to produce green hydrogen that would generate 100 MW of energy – while another ambition is to construct hydroelectric power stations with 3.5 GW of energy capacity as part of DTEK’s 30 by 30 initiative;
- DTEK has further pledged to evolve into a greener, more efficient and technologically advanced business, with a goal to reach carbon neutrality by 2040;
- Ukraine is home to the most gas in Europe after Norway;
