On October 30-31, 2021, the Ukrainian Startup Fund and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine held an intensive offline Sсience&Business StartupBootcamp at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. Innovation DTEK supported this event.
The two-day bootcamp was organized for scientists and startups that work with innovative solutions, technological products, modernized services and business models.
During the event, the participants got the necessary knowledge and skills in key areas within the commercialization of their projects. The bootcamp consisted of 5 thematic sessions: Marketing, Investments, Sales, Legal Regulation and Finance.
At the opening of the event, welcoming remarks were made by: Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine for European Integration Oleksiy Shkuratov, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization Artur Seletskiy, Director of the Ukrainian Startup Fund Pavlo Kartashov, Rector of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University Volodymyr Bugrov, DTEK Chief Innovation Officer Emanuele Volpe and other partners of the event.
“The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Startup Fund are strategic partners for Innovation DTEK. After all, it is students and young scientists who are the main engine of innovative processes. We support such events in order to develop the innovative ecosystem of Ukraine. We believe that such meetings promote more ambitious startup teams, new ideas and disruptive technologies,” commented Emanuele Volpe.
Within the event, startup teams pitched their projects. Vitalii Opryshko, Innovation Manager at DTEK, acted as a member of the jury and evaluated their innovative solutions.
