Dear friends and colleagues,
My sincerest greetings on Independence Day. Today we celebrate the most significant day for our country and people. After nearly a year and a half of russian aggression, independence has taken on a new meaning. It has become a symbol of life, freedom, and the future, and at the same time, it's reminds us of sacrifice, heroism, pain, and loss.
Every Ukrainian understands the price we have already paid for it and the entire country is doing everything possible and impossible to preserve it.
We have shown the world our character, surprising many with our courage and resilience. Each citizen, whether at the frontline or behind, contributes towards the much-anticipated victory.
DTEK is standing guard on our nation’s energy frontline, using all the experience and knowledge gained over the company's 18-year history. DTEK restores the light, rebuilds damaged networks and energy facilities and extracts gas and coal.
We also inspire the country and foreign partners with our belief in victory: when DTEK invests, reconstructs and launches new projects during war it shows our confidence that Ukraine will withstand and recover.
On this festive day, I want to thank every DTEK employee for their work, dedication and bravery. Thanks to your resilience, the company has endured all the challenges thrown at us and continues to fulfil its mission - to bring light and warmth to our people.
Despite the war and missile attacks, DTEK is moving towards its goal –to build new energy: clean and innovative, using the latest technology.
This will not only strengthen our country's energy security but also allow it to become a reliable energy partner for the whole of Europe.
I sincerely wish every DTEK employee and our entire country a swift victory and a return to peace. May our unity, strength, and energy continue to help overcome all challenges. Glory to Ukraine!
