DTEK has spent $110m preparing for the possibility of another russian onslaught this winter.

“We have done everything possible and sometimes impossible to be prepared,” DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko told the paper. “Nobody can guarantee there won’t be blackouts this winter. Unfortunately, we are at war. We can’t predict the scale of russian attacks. We will do everything we can so generators are not used.”

DTEK Renewables has completed additional adjustments of power equipment at its enterprises – reactive power compensation devices (STATCOM). This is unique experience for Ukraine.

  • THE MINISTER OF ENERGY PRESENTED STATE AWARDS TO FOUR DTEK POWER ENGINEERS

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has awarded DTEK Dnipro Grids' power engineers for their help in ensuring sustainable operation of the industry during the war. On a visit to Dnipropetrovs'k region, Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko presented certificates of honor and badges to four company employees who took part in restoring power grids after enemy shelling.
