The award was granted for the achievements in improving the quality of training and competence of public officials. DTEK Academy cooperates with 27 governmental authorities and agencies, including the National Bank of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining of Ukraine, the Kyiv City State Administration, etc. DTEK Academy has developed and runs special training programs for the public officials aimed at the development of professional and personal competencies. More than 3.4 thousand public officials have already completed various training programs offered by DTEK Academy.
“The global recognition of DTEK Academy highlights its uniqueness and importance for Ukraine. With this project we are aiming at making a contribution to the new quality of education provided to specialists who are instrumental in the successful implementation of the reforms, economy reloading, and improving the standard of living. The strategy pursued by DTEK Academy envisages further development in this area. We are open for cooperation with everyone who shares our values and is dedicated to bringing quality changes to our country,” noted Aleksandr Kucherenko, DTEK’s Director of Sustainable Development.
Alongside DTEK Academy, 2019 GlobalCCU Awards were given to Airbus, Infosys, SAP, and other global companies. The jury that selected the finalists consisted of the presidents of Corporate Universities established by such global companies as Microsoft, Siemens, ArcelorMittal, Danone, etc.
The Global Council of Corporate Universities (GlobalCCU) was established in 2005, and it brings together Corporate Universities of the leading companies from more than 50 countries around the world. DTEK Academy is Ukraine’s only Global CCU representative.
