DTEK underlined its commitment to Ukraine’s next generation last week, at a major event at the American University Kyiv - an institution Academy DTEK is partnering to promote lifelong learning.

At a ceremony at the university’s renovated River Port campus, Dan Rice – an adviser to the Ukrainian military – was inaugurated as the new president of AUK watched by students, staff, board members and former AUK president, Rick Shangrove.

Thanks to Academy DTEK’s financial and academic support for the American University Kyiv, Ukrainian students can enroll in US university programmes without leaving the country. Courses focus on equipping Ukrainians with future skillsets such as digitalization, IT and business transformation management and are developed with Arizona State University –one of the United States’ most innovative universities.
